Ionia County Combats Mental Health Stigma

On Friday, May 17, 2013, Ionia County Community Mental Health invited the community to its 5th Annual 5K walk/run to combat stigma. This event brought over 100 participants to downtown Ionia. Participants brought 388 non-perishable food pantry donations (as part of their registration “fee”) to be donated to local food pantries in Ionia County. Ionia County Community Mental Health is committed to Wellness – committed to the whole person: mind, body, soul, and spirit.
